Free Project: Initial Ideas and SMART Objective

For this project, I have decided to choose the Mobile Photography brief. Below are some of the ideas that I have generated in the meanwhile:

Mobile Photography

 - symmetry: coincidental

- shadows: people, certain objects

- a doll/a pair of shoes left on different streets: seeming abandoned

- a single flower growing in weird places

- leicester through glasses: the glasses are seen and being held

- the illusion of height/distance: using 0.5

- colour coded: focuses on a specific colour 

- reflections: use of mirrors, water

- details of certain things: flowers

MAIN THEME: HATS 

I have decided on picking Hats as my main theme as I have quite an interest in purchasing various hats. They may be simple or quite vibrant and different with my style yet I adore each and everyone I own.

For the concept, I have decided to take inspiration from a mobile photographer named Tika Jabanashvili. This photograph is part of her series called 'Autoportrait'. 

Inspired by what she said, I would interpret hats as a portrayal of my identity using different colours and styles. Showing that I am not afraid to portray myself in various ways and colours. As this is mobile photography, I will be using my own phone, an Iphone 13 and use my own hats as the properties and theme. I will call this photography piece "Hats In Mood".
