Free Project: Development and Curation

For this free project, I decided to do the photoshoot inside as I thought that it would give off a feeling of being in a studio for this certain theme. I selected the area inside my accommodation building as it is close and easily accessible for myself.

I used my Iphone 13 as the camera for this shoot. I mainly used the 'Portrait' setting that has been provided in my phone as I thought that it would achieve the best results compared to the normal setting.

Below are the contact sheets I have made from the photos I have captured.

As the images are HEIC, I have to change it to JPG first so that I can edit the images easier thus using an online converter at heictojpg. Though, it only can do max 5 for every conversion therefore I selected 5 and did this until every image is converted.

These are the settings I used for most of the pictures:

I used a Wide Camera with an aptitude of 1.6, ISO 125 and 500. 

I then decided to edit some images to enhance the overall appearance of the images. I first cropped the images to the desired size I would like it to be. I then also decided to add a black and white filter to 2 of the images as I thought it would enhance the image even better.

As I have finished selecting and curating the images for the final presentation, I added the images to a Word document to which I then convert to a PDF and create a flipbook using the online software, Heyzine.

Thus, finalising the flipbook and I can continue to upload it to my website.
