Creative Writing: Introduction to Chapbook and Generating Ideas
Today in class, we began discussing about our creative writing project and we will create a Chapbook.
"Chapbooks were small, affordable forms of literature for children and adults that were sold on the streets, and covered a range of subjects from fairy tales and ghost stories to news of politics, crime or disaster." (British Library)

For this project, I had thought of writing a chapbook with the genre Thriller/Crime as I am quite interested in this genre. I tried to do a little bit of research for some references but I barely found much for thriller chapbook authors. However, for this project I will start by researching about Agatha Christie.
She was well-known for her murder mystery books. Her murder mysteries were extremely popular as, not only were they the first ever written in this genre, but also because they have captivating detectives, a diversity of suspects and the creation of a true rule for murder mysteries.
Inspired by most of her murder mysteries, I decided on a temporary storyline for the plot that includes thriller and mystery.
