Creative Writing: Chapbook Planning

• What is your final idea?  Please explain in two sentences the theme and the form your writing will take.

I will create a narrative story with a theme of thriller and mystery. The story will be around characters named Lyla, Lucas, Travis and Justin and their newly discovered secret about their family.

• Considering the form, how do you intend to layout your book pages?

I will include an image for every start of the chapter continuing with the narrative story under it.

• How many pages do you expect there will be?

25-30 pages

• Are you going to use images?  Are these your own images (illustrations/photographs) or copyright free images that you will source?  

I will be using images to enhance a section of the story. I may use my own and copyright free images

• What is the plan of your time and how much you will need to spend on this?

I will spend approximately two weeks for writing, drafting, rewriting and with additional time into designing the cover, and searching images

• What do you imagine the final book will look like? 

I imagine and hope the final book will look like Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None.

• Have you considered the cover/contents page/back cover with blurb?

As of right now, I have not thought of an idea however, I will start researching for inspiration for the front and back cover.

• Drafting and Redrafting will need to be done? Who will you get to proofread your work?

Drafting and redrafting will certainly be needed and I will ask my friends to proofread my work as most of them are native in the english language
