Advertisement: Logo Creation

Since my advertisement is about a softball workshop, I wanted my logo to represent what it is mainly about. To keep it simple, I used this picture of a person swinging a bat overlapping with a picture of a softball behind them from shutter-stock.

As I did not want it to have a background, I used an online background remover and saved it as a PNG format.

I then used Pixlr to create changes and add my own brand name. I signed in to my account then clicked 'Pixlr X'. I clicked 'Create new' under the 'Open Image' button and selected the A4 size under the 'print' option and clicked 'Create' to start.

I uploaded the image (with the background removed) by selecting the 'Add Element/Image' option on the left side. As the image had the writing "shutterstock.com", I used the 'Cutout' option to crop the image to make it more clean.

I then added the brand name, which is 'SWINGS'.  I used the font 'Haahlodoh' in the size 235 with letter spacing at 25 and added an arc curve at -56 to make the letters look like they are a part of the ball.

As the current image colour is not a solid black, I made the 'Brightness', 'Exposure', and 'White' to 0 and made the 'Black' and 'Contrast' to 100. Seeing the difference, I added 'Sharpen' and 'Smooth' to create an even cleaner finish.

After successfully creating the logo, I saved my work as a PNG format as I do not want any background for it.

Here is my final logo:

I am satisfied with the result as it represents softball and is simple.
